    The National Institute of Design has opened the rechecking window for NID BDes prelims result 2026 on April 2, 2026, at 4 PM. Candidates can submit their request through their login on the official website - admissions.nid.edu. The last date to submit the request for NID BDes DAT prelims rechecking request is April 4, 2026 upto 11:59 pm. Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 2000 to get their NID result rechecked. The authorities declared the NID BDes prelims result on April 2, 2026.

    Shortlisted candidates in the NID BDes prelims will be eligible to appear for the mains exam, which is the second stage of the NID entrance exam. As per the revised selection process, the marks in the NID prelims result will not be carried forward to the mains. Earlier, NID DAT 2026 for prelims was conducted on December 21, 2025.

    • Fill in the required details and upload a scanned copy of the NID DAT 2026 admit card

    • Pay the rechecking fee of Rs 2000

    NID BDes Prelims Result Rechecking: Important Points

    • The rechecking will be limited to verifying whether all answers have been marked, whether there is a totalling mistake, or a mistake in transferring the marks onto the cover page of the answer booklet

    • No other reevaluation will be conducted

    • Changes to the result, if any, will be notified to the candidates at their registered email id

    • If a scanned copy of the admit card, duly signed by the invigilator with the seal of the test centre, is not uploaded, the rechecking requests will not be processed
