    NTA has notified the NIFT 2026 PI dates. The NIFT 2026 PI round will be conducted from April 6 to 11, 2026. The NIFT 2026 situation test date will be notified soon. The NIFT 2026 situation test for BDes will be tentatively conducted in the second week of April 2026. In the NIFT selection process, authorities will evaluate the final scores based on entrance exam result and situation test/personal interview. The final result for NIFT 2026 is expected to be released tentatively in May 2026. Candidates will be shortlisted for the NIFT 2026 counselling process based on the scores secured in all stages of the exam.     NIFT Answer Key 2026 Date

    National Testing Agency(NTA) has released the NIFT 2026 final answer key on March 23, 2026. Candidates who have appeared for the NIFT entrance exam can download the NIFT final answer key 2026 from the official website. The NIFT provisional answer key was released on February 17, 2026. After the provisional answer key release, candidates were allowed to raise objections against the answer key with a specific fees. After considering the valid objections, authorities have released the NIFT 2026 final answer key.

    NIFT 2026 Entrance Exam Result Date

    NIFT 2026 result is available separately on the official website for UG and PG programmes. Candidates can check the NIFT 2026 results online with their login credentials. Candidates shortlisted in the NIFT result 2026 will be called to participate in the next round which will be a situation test or an interview.

    NIFT Second Round 2026 Dates

    The candidates who are shortlisted from the NIFT entrance exam 2026 will be eligible for the second round. NTA will announce the NIFT 2026 situation test date on its official website. The NIFT situation test 2026 will be conducted tentatively in April 2026. Authorities might release the NIFT 2026 situation test admit card in the first week of April 2026. Admit card is a mandatory document which has to be shown during the situation test. Candidates can download their admit cards for NIFT situation test through their login ID.

    NIFT 2026 Final Result Date

    The NIFT final result 2026 will be declared tentatively in May 2026. The NIFT 2026 final result will be declared as the marks obtained by the candidate in the NIFT entrance exam and the NIFT situation test weightage. Shortlisted candidates in the final result of NIFT 2026 will be eligible to take part in the counselling process.

    NIFT 2026 Event-Wise Dates

    Given below are all the dates for all the important events for the NIFT entrance exam 2026.

    NIFT 2026 Notification Date

    NIFT has released the NIFT notification 2026 online on December 8, 2025. The NIFT 2026 notification contains all details about the exam, including the schedule, important instructions and guidelines, participating institutes, and more.

    NIFT Application Form 2026 Date

    The deadline to complete NIFT 2026 registration ended on January 19, with a late fee. The application deadline with a regular fee was January 16, 2026. Earlier, NTA commenced NIFT 2026 registration on December 8, 2025. Aspirants seeking admission into NIFT design programmes are required to register and submit the application form online at the official website - nift.ac.in before the prescribed deadline. The candidates have to make payment as per the fee specified for different categories and upload the required documents to complete the NIFT 2026 registration.

    NIFT 2026 Application Form Correction Date

    The authorities had opened the NIFT 2026 application form correction window from January 21-22, 2026. The candidates who wish to make any changes to the application form could use this correction window to update the correct information. No changes was allowed after the correction window closure.

    NIFT 2026 City Intimation Slip Release Date

    NTA is expected to release the NIFT 2026 stage 2 city intimation slip soon. Candidates can download the city intimation slip through their login. The advance city intimation slip of NIFT 2026 will include details about the city where the candidate's allotted exam centre is located. The NIFT city intimation slip is different from the admit card.

    NIFT 2026 Admit Card Date

    NTA issued the NIFT PG interview admit card 2026 tentatively in the fourth week of March 2026. The registered candidates can download the NIFT 2026 admit card using their login credentials. The admit card of NIFT 2026 is a mandatory document for the exam.

    NIFT Exam Date 2026

    NTA conducted the NIFT entrance examination 2026 on February 8. The NIFT entrance test will be conducted as the CAT (Creative Ability Test) and GAT (General Ability Test). Candidates preparing for the entrance exam were advised to check the NIFT syllabus as per the programme they have applied for.
