Whats's new in FDDI AIST 2019?
According to the current notification, candidates who are applying for FDDI AIST can see the following changes as compared to last year:
- The age criteria for students applying for FDDI AIST should be 25 years as on June 25, 2019. Last year, it was July 25, 2019.
- The number of exam centres has been reduced from 38 to 30 as compared to last year.
- Candidates can only select one test centre for exam, last year they had a choice to select four exam centres.
- Also, there is a change in number of seats allocated to different programmes at its various institutes as compared to the last year.

FDDI AIST 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Students must have completed 10+2 in any stream from any recognised board, such as CBSE, IB, ICSE or their equivalent can apply. Students who are appearing for the same in the current year can also apply.

Notes: 1) Students yet to appear for their 12th exam have to produce proof of having appeared for the examination during the counseling process of FDDI programmes.
2) If a candidate fails to produce his or her qualifying certificate before the stipulated time mentioned above, the admission for such candidate will be cancelled.
Aspirants can fill the application form of FDDI AIST 2019 in online mode. A candidate can apply for more than one programme by paying a registration fee single time. To apply in multiple programmes, aspirants have to enter the programme code as per their preference. Students have to pay Rs. 500 as an application fee. The allotted exam centre to students are mentioned on their FDDI AIST 2019 admit card. Students can choose only one test centre from the given below list while filling the registration form. FDDI AIST exam centres 2019 will be allotted on first-come-first-serve basis. The Institute has the right to add or cancel any test centre without giving any reason. FDDI AIST Syllabus 2019
The questions in FDDI AIST are based on quantitative aptitude, verbal ability, general awareness and design aptitude. The syllabus of FDDI AIST 2019 includes the topics from class XI and XII. Students have to updated with current affairs to prepare for general awareness section.
Students can download FDDI AIST 2019 admit card from May 1, 2019 onwards. The admit card contains the following details- test centres, session and test time. Students have to take the printout of the admit, and paste a photograph on it and carry it to their exam centres. They also have to carry a valid identity proof along with the admit card, such as voter’s ID card/passport/driving license/identity card. Students must note that they won’t be allowed to enter the examination hall without a valid FDDI AIST Admit Card 2019.
Footwear Design & Development Institute will release FDDI AIST 2019 result on May 30, 2019. An all India merit list will be prepared based on the result. A total of 1500 seats will be allotted to qualified candidates in 12 campuses of FDDI across India.
The qualified candidates will be called for counselling based on their rank and preference for their campus and programme. The counselling will start from June 21 to 25, 2019. The FDDI AIST counselling will continue till the last seat is filled up. Candidates who will be allotted seat will have to pay an amount of Rs. 25000 to reserve their seats, which includes Rs 20, 000 as an advance fee which will be adjusted against the balance fee and Rs. 5000 (non refundable) as counselling charges.
