Candidates seeking admission for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes need to meet the prescribed eligibility requirements of FDDI AIST 2026. For B.Des programme:

Candidates who are interested in undergraduate programmes such as B.Des need to meet the following criteria

• Age limit: Candidates should have an age limit of 25 years as on July 1, 2026 (admission year). 

• Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates must pass 10+2 in any discipline from any recognised board. 

  • Candidates who clear 10+2 from a recognised board or university recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. 

  • Candidates must pass a minimum five subjects in School Examination conducted by National Open School.

  • Candidates who completed their 3 years diploma approved by AICTE after Class X from a State or Union Territory Board of Technical Education.

For M.Des programmes 

Candidates aspiring to get seat in postgraduate programmes like M.Des in Footwear Design & Production and M.Des in fashion design must satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

• M.Des in Fashion Design: Students who have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized Institute or University in India.  
• M.Des in Footwear Design & Production: Students who passed the bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university or institute in India. A bridge programme comprising of two to three relevant subjects may be offered alongside the M.Des for students without a design background.

Age limit: There is no limit specified by the authorities for post-graduation courses.

FDDI AIST 2026 application form will be made available to the students tentatively in November 2025 at fddiindia.com. FDDI AIST registration last date is yet to be announced. Candidates who wish to apply for FDDI admission should complete the online registration form as per the guidelines and submit the documents by paying the prescribed fee through credit cards, debit cards, or internet banking.
