The UCEED exam will be conducted as partial online and partial offline modes. The UCEED Part-A will be conducted in online mode whereas the Part-B will be in offline mode. The details of UCEED Part A & B are as follows.
The UCEED 2026 Part-A will be a computer-based test (CBT) which is an online mode.
The students need to give the examination at the allotted exam centres on the computers.
For this it is mandatory for the candidates to be present at the UCEED exam centres as per the schedule given.
The UCEED 2026 Part-B section will be in pen and paper-based mode.
As the candidates need to resolve the question paper of part-B on an answer sheet, hence this will be in an offline mode.
In this section, the candidates are assessed on creativity skills, sketching and drawing skills which have to be drawn physically on the answer sheet.
Conducting the UCEED exam in online and offline modes have several advantages for the students and the authorities. Some of the advantages are listed below.
Part-A
As the UCEED Part-A will be online, it is easy for the authorities to evaluate the paper of objective questions.
This in turn reduces the effort of manual correction and also there will be less chances of evaluation mistakes.
Time saving process with less manual effort.
Part-B
As the Part-B section of UCEED will be held in offline mode, assessing the creativity and drawing skills of the candidates will be easy for the jury members in the panel.
Candidates need to explain the model of the drawing pattern, hence it would be easy in offline mode rather than in online mode.

You can access the free mock test series for the UCEED 2026 exam directly through the provided link. Taking mock tests is the single most critical step for UCEED preparation, as the exam is highly focused on aptitude, visualization, and analytical skills, rather than textbook knowledge. Consistent practice with these mock tests will help you: (1) Understand the Complex Pattern: Get familiar with the Part A (Aptitude) sections, including Numerical Answer Type (NAT) and Multiple Select Questions (MSQ). (2) Improve Speed and Time Management: UCEED is time-intensive, and mock tests help you learn to allocate time effectively between the diverse question types (Visualisation, Spatial Reasoning, Communication, etc.). (3) Practice Sketching (for Part B): While Part A is computerized, practicing the simulated Part B (Drawing/Sketching) challenges will sharpen your creative skills needed for a high score. Hello,
For admission to Ajeenkya D.Y. Patil University (ADYPU), you must score a minimum of 50% in your 12th grade for the general category. However, ADYPU conducts its own entrance exam, known as the ACET ADYPU Common Entrance Exam, which includes a studio test and a personal interview.
