The Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) is one of the most prominent exam conducted by IIT Bombay. Students, after their 12th are eligible to appear for the UCEED exam. IIT Bombay conducts the UCEED entrance examination annually to offer design admissions into various IITs and design colleges. The UCEED 2026 is scheduled to be held on January 18, 2026. The official brochure has been released on October 1, 2026 by the UCEED conducting authority of IIT Bombay at the official website . THe exam modes still have two Parts; Part A with the online mode and Part B, being offline.
Aspirants can check the UCEED exam modes - offline and online in the brochure that has been officially released at - uceed.iitb.ac.in.
The UCEED 2026 exam will be held in both online (Part-A) and offline (Part-B) modes.
As Part-A will be based on analytical and logical reasoning, visualisation, english grammar and more etc, this section will be in online mode.
Candidates will be assessed on their creative and innovative skills, and drawing skills in offline mode which is the Part-B section of UCEED exam.
