National Institute of Fashion Technology admission is done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in NIFT CAT & GAT and the NIFT situation test/personal interview. The NIFT second round 2025 for UG candidates was conducted on June 8. The NIFT PG interview 2025 was conducted on May 26 to 31 and June 2 and 3, 2025, and for the M.F.Tech programme the NIFT 2025 personal interview was held on June 3 only. When is NIFT second round 2025?
The authorities released the NIFT 2025 second round admit card for UG aspirants at the NTA official website. Shortlisted candidates can download the NIFTEE stage 2 admit card 2025 using their login credentials, such as application number and date of birth. The NIFT second round city intimation slip was released on May 24, 2025. NTA announced the NIFT 2025 second round date for both UG and PG programmes at exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT/. The NIFT second round 2025 dates for PG are May 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 and June 2, 3, 2025 and for UG is June 8, 2025.
The NIFT entrance exam included General Ability Test (GAT) which was a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Creative Ability Test (CAT) which was an offline test. After passing and qualifying the GAT and CAT exams, shortlisted candidates are eligible for the second round. Candidates must check the official websites - nift.ac.in and exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT/ for NIFT exam dates 2025 and latest updates.
NIFT Second-Round Timings
The NTA issued the NIFT second admit card for UG programmes along with the timings at exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT/. The NIFTEE stage 2 admit card will include details such as the interview venue, reporting time, and important instructions. NIFT Second Round City Intimation Date 2025
The authorities released the city intimation slip for the NIFT 2025 second round on May 24. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is responsible for the release of the city intimation slip. The city intimation slip included information about the NIFT exam centres 2025. The NIFT second round city intimation was released before the release of the admit card. The NTA released the NIFT 2025 second round admit card on June 2 for UG and May 21 for PG at exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT/. Steps to download the NIFT 2025 second round admit card
Visit “ exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT/ ” or “ nift.ac.in “
Click on the "NIFT Stage 2 admit card"
Login using - application number and date of birth.
Click on the “Submit” button.
The “NIFT 2025 Second Round Admit Card” will be displayed on the screen.
Download and take a printout of the NIFT second round call letter 2025 for further admission process.
NIFT Second Round Result 2025
The NIFT second round result 2025 for PG aspirants will be declared on exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT/. The Candidates must check the NIFT notification 2025 on both NTA and NIFT websites. The NIFT second round 2025 result for UG will be done by the jury on the spot. The design aspirants need not wait for the NIFT second round results as it will be evaluated based on the model that is done. Only the candidates who qualified in the entrance examination are eligible for the NIFT second round and will get their NIFT second round result.

The syllabus of NIFT 2026 will be released on October 2025 by Nift officials on their official website nift.ac.in . The syllabus comprises of topics General Ability Test (GAT) and Creative Ability Test (CAT). The syllabus is different for UG and PG programmes. The GAT syllabus consists of :
