    About UCEED 2026

    Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, has released the UCEED 2026 scorecard on March 10, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the UCEED scorecard through their login. IIT Bombay will release the UCEED 2026 BDes admission form on March 14, 2026. Earlier, it had declared the UCEED 2026 result on March 6, 2026. Only those candidates who cleared the UCEED cut-off for Part A were evaluated for Part B and got a rank. Such candidates will be eligible to register for the UCEED counselling 2026 process. Through UCEED admissions, candidates will be admitted into undergraduate design programmes of participating IITs. 

    IIT Bombay conducted the UCEED 2026 exam on January 18, 2026. The UCEED exam consists of two components - Part A and Part B. Part A of the UCEED syllabus consists of multiple-choice questions. Part B of the UCEED syllabus consists of subjective questions. Earlier, IIT Bombay closed the UCEED application form 2026 with a late fee on November 10, 2025. 

    Candidates who are shortlisted after the UCEED result will be invited to participate in the UCEED counselling process. Around 7 IITs will offer admission into various B.Des programmes through the counseling process. For admission to UCEED courses at IITs, students must qualify for the entrance exam conducted by IIT Bombay. There are several colleges that accept UCEED scores other than the IITs and IIITDM Jabalpur.

    What is UCEED exam?  

    The UCEED exam is an entrance examination conducted by IIT Bombay. The UCEED exam is conducted for admission to Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Guwahati, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur.     UCEED Important Dates

    UCEED Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (session 2026)

    IIT Bombay declared the UCEED 2026 result on March 6, 2026. Candidates can download the UCEED result 2026 on the official website - uceedapp.iitb.ac.in by entering the login credentials such as email address and password on the admission portal. UCEED results contain rank and score obtained by the candidate. The UCEED 2026 merit list is prepared based on the candidate's performance in the exam and rank obtained. 

    The UCEED 2026 scorecard is available for download from March 10, 2026. Candidates can download the scorecard through their login till June 11, 2026.

    How to download the UCEED result 2026? 

    Candidates can download the UCEED 2026 result by using the steps below: 

    • Candidates need to open UCEED official website

    IIT Bombay prescribes the UCEED 2026 eligibility criteria in its admission brochure published on its official website - uceed.iitb.ac.in. Students aspiring for admission need to fulfill the UCEED 2026 eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria of UCEED 2026 pertain to educational qualification and age limit. The details are given below.

    • Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent in any stream
    • As per last year's age limit, candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 2000, if they belong to the Open/EWS/OBC-NCL category
    • As per last year's age limit, candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1995, if they belong to the SC, ST, or PwD category.
    • Students need to clear the UCEED exam in 2 attempts only, that too in consecutive years. 

    Note: Candidates should note that the UCEED scorecard is valid for one year only.

    IIT Bombay has closed the UCEED 2026 application form with a late fee of Rs 500 on November 10, 2025. The deadline to register for with a regular fee was November 5. Candidates can complete UCEED 2026 registration online from the official website - uceed.iitb.ac.in. It had opened the UCEED 2026 application form on October 1, 2025. The registration will be cancelled if the candidate does not meet the UCEED 2026 eligibility criteria.

    IIT Bombay has published the UCEED exam pattern 2026 on its official admission portal. UCEED 2026 exam pattern is designed to assess the candidates' aptitude and skills. The UCEED 2026 exam consists of two parts: Part A and Part B.     IIT Bombay has released the UCEED 2026 final answer key on January 28, 2026 on its official website - uceed.iitb.ac.in. It had earlier released the draft answer key on January 20, 2026. Candidates were allowed to challenge the provisional answer key of UCEED 2026 till January 22, 2026 through their login.     How to Download UCEED 2026 Answer Key?

    The steps to download the answer key of UCEED 2026 are given below-

    • Step 1 - Visit the official website to download the UCEED answer key
    • Step 2 - Click on the ‘UCEED answer key for Part A’ tab
    • Step 3 - The UCEED 2026 answer key will appear on the screen in PDF format
    • Step 4 - Download and take the printout of the UCEED answer key 2026

    IIT Bombay releases the UCEED cutoff 2026 for each round as per the counselling process at the official web portal. It has released the UCEED Part A cut-off 2026 on February 5, 2026. The mean and standard deviation for UCEED 2026 part A is 70.86 and 25.77 respectively. Only those candidates who clear the UCEED cut-off 2026 for Part A will be evaluated for Part B.
