UCEED Exam 2027: Exam Date Out, Notification (Oct 1), Registration, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus, Preparation

IIT Bombay will notify the UCEED 2027 eligibility criteria in its admission brochure published on its official website - uceed.iitb.ac.in. The eligibility criteria of UCEED 2027 pertain to educational qualification and age limit. The details are given below.

• Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent in any stream
• As per last year's age limit, candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 2002, if they belong to the Open/EWS/OBC-NCL category
• As per last year's age limit, candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1997, if they belong to the SC, ST, or PwD category.
• Students need to clear the UCEED exam in 2 attempts only, that too in consecutive years. 

Note: Candidates should note that the UCEED scorecard is valid for one year only.

IIT Bombay will open the UCEED 2027 application form tentatively in October 2026. Aspirants can complete UCEED 2027 registration online. The applicants must make sure they fulfil the UCEED 2027 eligibility criteria before completing the application form. The last date to complete the UCEED application form is expected to be in the first week of November 2026.

What are the documents required to fill out the UCEED application form?

Candidates are required to keep the documents ready to fill out the application form of UCEED 2027. All the documents provided will be verified by the authorities. In case of any false information or documents candidature will be cancelled. To complete the UCEED registration form, candidates need to upload the following documents listed below: 

• A recent coloured photograph with specified size. 
• A scanned copy of signature (only in jpeg format and jpg format).
• Academic certificates (only in pdf formats)
• Reserved category certificates (caste certificate in pdf format- if applicable)
• Candidates under Dyslexic category need to submit FORM-DYSLEXIC 1 and 2 instead of PwD certificate.

UCEED Application Fee

IIT Bombay will notify the UCEED exam pattern 2027 on its official admission portal. UCEED 2027 exam pattern is designed to assess the candidates' aptitude and skills. The UCEED exam consists of two parts: Part A and Part B. UCEED Part A consists of three sections, namely Numerical Answer Type (NAT), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Part B consists of two questions on drawing skills and design aptitude.

• Prioritise the topics which are important and asked repeatedly in the exam.

IIT Bombay will release the UCEED 2027 draft answer key one to two days after the exam. After releasing the UCEED 2027 provisional answer key, the authorities will open the objection window. Candidates can challenge the answer key through their login within the deadline. After considering the valid objections, IIT Bombay will release the UCEED 2027 final answer key.

IIT Bombay will declare the UCEED 2027 result tentatively in March 2027. Candidates can download the UCEED result 2027 on the official website - uceedapp.iitb.ac.in by entering the login credentials, such as email address and password, on the admission portal. UCEED results contain the rank and score obtained by the candidate.

The UCEED 2027 will be available for download a few days after the results are declared. Candidates must download the scorecard through their login before the last date.

IIT Bombay will release the UCEED 2027 cutoff for each round of counselling. Only those candidates who clear the UCEED cutoff 2027 will be offered admission. First, the authorities will release the UCEED 2027 part A cutoff. Only those candidates who clear the cutoff for UCEED 2027 part A will be evaluated for Part B and assigned a rank and be considered for admissions.

The UCEED cutoff is influenced by several factors, such as difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants, the reservation policy, and the availability of seats. 

IIT Bombay will notify the UCEED 2027 counselling schedule on its official website. It is expected to conduct five rounds of UCEED counselling. Shortlisted candidates have to fill out the UCEED 2027 admission form online to register for the counselling process. The UCEED seat allotment will be done based on the candidate's rank and campus preferences submitted by them.

UCEED 2027 counselling involves various stages such as registration, choice filling, seat allocation, and document verification. The UCEED counselling process aims to ensure a fair and transparent allocation of seats to candidates based on their merit and preferences.

• Candidates who are shortlisted in the UCEED result need to register online for the counselling process through the official website.

• After UCEED counselling registration, candidates are required to fill in their choices of B.Des. programmes and institutes in order of preference.
• Based on the candidates' UCEED rank, category, and preferences, the counselling authority conducts the seat allotment process. Seats are allocated to candidates according to their rank and the availability of seats in their preferred programs and institutes.
• Candidates who are allocated seats in the counselling process must indicate their acceptance of the allotted seat within the specified deadline. They are also required to pay the requisite admission fee to confirm their UCEED admission seat.
