UCEED 2021 : Answer Key (OUT), Result, Cut off, Counselling
UCEED 2021 - Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay has released the UCEED 2021 answer key along with the question paper and response sheet on January 21, in online mode. Candidates can comment on the CEED answer key if a discrepancy is found. The institute will release the final CEED answer key on January 31, 2021, in online mode. IIT Bombay will announce the UCEED result on March 10, 2021, along with the scorecard. UCEED 2021 was successfully conducted on January 17 from 9 am to 12 noon in various exam cities. IIT Bombay modified the factor of shortlisting the candidates. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the marks obtained in Part A. UCEED 2021 application form was available on the official website from September 9 to November 17. It was mandatory to fulfil the UCEED eligibility criteria before filling the application form. The institute has issued the UCEED admit card 2021 on January 1 in online mode. What is UCEED?
Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) is a national level exam conducted by IIT Bombay every year to offer admission to the eligible candidates in B.Des programmes at colleges accepting UCEED scores and result sharing institute. Since the exam is appeared by the maximum number of candidates, procuring admission in the dream design colleges may be an arduous task. Practising the UCEED previous year question paper will help the students to understand the question format of the entrance test.
The institute released the official notification of UCEED 2021 on September 9 on its official website. UCEED 2021 Eligibility Criteria
IIT Bombay prescribed the eligibility criteria of UCEED which include all the parameters to be fulfilled by the candidates. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the entrance exam if they fail to meet the UCEED eligibility criteria 2021. Aspiring students are advised to go through the criteria prescribed before filling the registration form. The specified UCEED 2021 eligibility criteria are mentioned below.
Candidates must pass 10 + 2 exams or any equivalent examination from a recognised board. Students must have Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics subjects in their qualifying exam.
Aspirants from the general category must be born on or after October 1, 1996. However, students from SC/ST/PwD candidates are eligible to apply if they are born on or after October 1, 1989.
Aspirants can appear UCEED entrance test multiple times.
UCEED 2021 Application Form
Aspirants could fill the application form of UCEED from September 9 to November 17, 2020, in online mode. Students must keep the required documents and information in preparation before filling the UCEED 2021 application form. While filling the registration form aspiring students must provide the required documents and information completely. The steps to fill the UCEED application form 2021 are as follows.

UCEED sample paper 2021 is a set of questions that contain all the questions which were already asked in the previous year’s. Students must solve the UCEED 2021 question papers to acquaint with the questions formats and difficulty level of the exam. UCEED 2021 Mock Test
IIT Bombay provided the mock test of UCCED on January 6 in online mode. Aspiring students must practice the UCEED mock test 2021 to be aware of the type of questions asked in each section. By solving the UCEED mock test, students will be able to know how to review the answers of every question and how to move to the next questions from each section. Students can only practice mock tests of UCEED only on a desktop or laptop computer but not on a mobile phone.
IIT Bombay successfully conducted UCEED 2021 on January 17 from 9 am to 12 noon in various exam cities. Test-takers were given a maximum of 180 minutes to solve 69 questions. Candidates who appeared for the exam found Part A of the question paper slightly tricky. Numerical answer type questions are comparatively difficult to the multiple select questions.
UCEED 2021 Answer Key
IIT Bombay provided the draft UCEED 2021 answer key for part A on January 21 along with the response sheet. Students can download the provisional UCEED answer key 2021 and match with their answer sheet. By comparing the draft answer key, candidates will be able to know how many questions that they answer correctly. Through UCEED answer key aspirants can calculate the estimated score. In case if candidates find any discrepancies in the provisional UCEED 2021 answer key, then they can challenge it till January 24. However, while commenting the answer key candidates must provide enough proof to support their answer key. The examination cell will release the final UCEED answer key 2021 after gathering all the comments from the students on January 31, 2020
UCEED 2021 Result
IIT Bombay will declare the UCEED result 2021 on March 10. Students can check the result by providing the requisite details in the login window. The concerned authority will also provide the scorecard of UCEED for the qualified candidates. UCEED scorecard will contain the name of the candidates, marks obtained in Part A and B, overall score, etc. The scorecard of UCEED will be valid for a period of one year from the date of result announcement.
UCEED 2021 Cutoff
UCEED cutoff 2021 (𝛿) for Part-A marks to shortlist candidates for the open category will be 𝜇 + (𝜎⁄2) = 𝛿, where 𝜇 and 𝜎 are the average marks and standard deviation of the distribution of marks obtained by all the candidates in Part-A of UCEED 2021. The 𝜇 and 𝜎 will be rounded off after the first decimal place. The candidates belonging to the reserved categories shall have to fulfil a relaxed cut-off mark, which will be 0.9𝛿 for OBC-NCL, 0.9𝛿 for EWS, 0.5𝛿 for SC/ST and 0.5𝛿 for PwD, where 𝛿 is the cut-off mark for OPEN category. The concerned authorities will release the UCEED 2021 cutoff which specified the minimum qualifying marks. Students must score the minimum qualifying marks or above it to consider admission in B.Des courses. The cutoff of UCEED will vary for different categories. UCEED 2021 Counselling and Seat Allotment
The qualified candidates are required to register for UCEED counselling 2021 which will be started from the second week till the last week of June. Students will have to register for the counselling of UCEED through online only. The fee for the registration of UCEED 2021 counselling and seat allotment is Rs 1000.
UCEED 2021 Seat Allotment
Based on the rank, category and choice of the institute, students will be allotted seat. There will be four rounds of UCEED depending on the total number of seats that are available. At the time of UCEED seat allotment 2021, students can float or freeze the option. Students will have to pay the admission fee in online mode in order to confirm the seats

Answer:
Your seat will remain afloat till the third round and it is after that it will be automatically frozen. If any round is held after the third round then in such a case allotment will be done but there will be freezing of seats.
Question: Till when can I withdraw a seat ?
Answer:
You can withdraw the seat till the last date of third round of seat acceptance.
Question: What is the seat allotment process in the supplementary round?
Answer:
If the seats are left vacant after the third round of seat allotment, then in such a case candidates will be allotted depending on the category and the rank that they have secured. In the supplementary round, allotment will close at least one day before the day for reporting and registration to the institute.

if we update UCEED application as we come under EWS and couldnt provide the certificate of EWS during UCEED then what happen?
Dear aspirant,
According to your question if you would update your application and changed your category to EWS and if you are not able to produce that certificate then you won't be alloted through that category.
This doesn't mean that your application or your admission would be cancelled ,its just that you would be alloted a seat through general category.
But for safety, you should contact the officials regarding this fact.

As we know that UCEED 2021 is going to be conducted by IIT Bombay on January 17th 2021 and it consists of two parts, Part-A and Part-B and in Part-A there is no need of any drawing tools but in Part-B which is the drawing section also there is no need of any drawing tool, you have to show your drawing skill by only using your pencil and in the Exam Day Guidelines issued by IIT Bombay it is clearly mentioned that " Candidate will NOT be allowed to carry any electronic device (mobile phones, smart phones, digital/smart watches, calculators, tablets etc.), abacus, slide rule, log books, study material of any type, geometry box, etc. to the examination hall. A list of forbidden items will be put up on the website before the exam if there are additional items ." Also the blank sheets will be provided there. You have to carry the printed copy of your Admit card only and Pen/Pencil whichever is required.

UCEED is a centre-based exam for admissions to the Bachelor of Design admissions. Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2021 will be conducted by IIT Bombay on January 17.
UCEED is a national level exam and is conducted once in a year. Duration of UCEED 2021 is three hours and the medium of the exam is English. Candidates who will qualify UCEED 2021 can apply to 179 seats in IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati , IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur campuses.
The eligibility criteria for appearing for UCEED 2021 exam are:
1. To be eligible for appearing UCEED 2021, candidates must be born on or before October 1, 1996, if they belong to open or OBC-NCL category, and if they belong to SC, ST, PWD category, then they must be born on or after October 1, 1991.
2. The maximum number of attempt will be two times in consecutive years.
3. Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination, that is class 12th or equivalent in 2020 or appearing in 2021. Students who have passed in 2019, or earlier are not eligible to apply. Further, students from all streams all eligible to apply for the exam.
The eligibility criteria for applying for B.Des after UCEED 2021 exam is as follows:
1. To be eligible for applying for B. Des programme, candidates must be born on or before October 1, 1996, if they belong to open or OBC-NCL category and if they belong to SC, ST, PWD category, then they must be born on or after October 1, 1991.
2. Candidates must have obtained the qualified rank in the UCEED 2021 exam.
3. Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination, that is class 12th or equivalent in 2020 or appearing in 2021. Further, students from all streams all eligible to apply for the exam.
4. Candidates from science stream with physics, chemistry and maths, as subjects are eligible to apply for admissions to IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur. Candidates from any other stream, that is science without physics, chemistry or maths, commerce, arts, humanities, are eligible to apply to only IIT Bombay, and IIITDM Jabalpur.
