Candidates can download the NID 2023 question paper with answers from this article. Several coaching centers released the NID PYQ in response to student feedback, even though the National Institute of Design does not officially release the NID 2023 question paper. NID DAT exam pattern consists of two sections such as objective type of questions and subjective type of questions according to the NID exam pattern. The NID B.Des prelims paper pattern evaluates the candidates aptitude for design, observation, creativity, and communication skills according to the NID DAT Syllabus 2026.

NID prelims 2023 question paper carried 36 questions in total with MCQs each worth 1 mark and 5 subjective questions with marks ranging from 6 to 15 making total marks of the paper 100.
Difficulty Level was easy to moderate with some questions being pretty straightforward and some needed complex analysis and were time consuming. Questions were asked from topics including General Knowledge, Reasoning, Sustainable Development etc.
This section in NID B.des 2023 question paper was moderately difficult with questions asked from topics like Perspective drawing, Storyboard creation and Problem-solving scenarios. This section was time-consuming, with some questions being more complex than others.
In overall, candidates found paper lengthy, which may have impacted time management. The paper also involved tricky questions especially in the drawing section which required careful attention.

As 563 rank in nid dat exam cannot guarantee admission in designing college but it could be a good chance to explore some campus as if you are not from general category as category role plays an important role . But now you can do one thing focus on your strengthening your protofile or preparing for the studio test (bdes) or interview (mdes).

No, IPU (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) does not accept NID DAT Prelims score for admission to the B.Des (Bachelor of Design) program.
Instead, IPU conducts its own entrance test or may consider CUET (UG) scores for B.Des admissions, depending on the latest admission guidelines. Always refer to the university's official prospectus for the year you're applying to for the final admission criteria.
