    Hey, candidates! Since the NID DAT 2026 exam took place on December 21, 2025. It has been observed that the NID exam 2026 does not include any questions linked to the general ability test and therefore does not contain any part A questions. The NID 2026 exam solely included questions from the drawing/sketching section.

    NID 2026 Prelims Part - A Exam Analysis

    As per the NID DAT 2026 Exam Pattern, NID DAT prelims was of 100 marks. In NID previous years part -A consisted of 25 marks whereas, part-B was consisted of 75 marks. However, in NID 2026, the entire 100 marks were allotted to part-B, which consists of drawing and sketching questions. There were no general ability exam questions. Also, please note as per the revised selection process, the NID 2026 prelims exam will be a qualifying exam to shortlist candidates for the mains exam.

    NID DAT 2026 Part - A Prelims Memory-Based Questions with Answers

    In NID 2026 exam, the entire 100 marks were devoted to part-b, which consists of drawing and sketching questions. The general ability test did not contain any questions.

    NID DAT 2026 question paper was:

    • 6 drawing question with 3 subparts in most questions.
    • 14 drawing /sketching tasks in 3 hours.
    • Moderately difficult.
    • Questions were based majorly on problem identification.
    • Solutions were lengthy with writing and sketching parts causing difficulty in time management for a lot of students.
