NID’s Placement Office currently undertakes the following activities:

  • Planning, organising, and coordinating centralised biannual Industry Interface across three campuses. Industry Interface is organised annually to provide a meeting ground where the NID placement companies and students can meet, and employers can identify suitable candidates for recruitment in their organisation.

  • Coordinating between the industry / studios / NGO / govt. sector and the students for industrial training, graduation projects, full-time placements, classroom projects and lateral placements, and interactive sessions with experts.

  • Managing the students’ online portfolio for the graduating batch and graduation project semester students.

  • Coordinating industry visits and meetings with concerned HODs / coordinators and promoting Industry presence in NID through lectures / presentations and interactions / crosstalk for the students throughout the year.

  • Facilitating the query of both students and NID placement companies.

  • Facilitating lateral placements.

  • Guiding students to build portfolios.
