After passing the NID Prelims Exam, candidates move on to the second and last stage of the NID DAT (Design Aptitude Test), known as the NID Mains Exam or Studio Test. NID Exam 2026 is tentatively scheduled for January, 2026. We have prepared a set of "Sample Questions" based on last year's examinations to assist candidates in efficiently preparing for NID Mains. Through the use of model-making, visual reflection, and thematic problem-solving, the questions are intended to assist you in comprehending the format and vocabulary of the test.
By practicing the questions, aspirants can refine their design thinking-based skills for NID Exam. Students can develop hands-on prototyping abilities and conceptual visualization confidence by using a time management-based strategy.

Solution: I will choose to be a Trapped Miner since, in such crucial times a miner, I can withstand the other trapped fellows and by acting appropriately in the situation, I could be a support to others through appropriate conduct.
Write six points & draw any two to justify what you would do in that situation choosing the role.
Solution: As an action to support the rescue mission, I would be using the existing objects nearby to create the noise at regular intervals to send a call-signal to the rescue team on ground to help them locate the trapped miners.

She and her friends can use social media, posters, and hoardings at traffic signals to spread awareness. Since this plan is cost-effective, it would be a practical and impactful step.

As 563 rank in nid dat exam cannot guarantee admission in designing college but it could be a good chance to explore some campus as if you are not from general category as category role plays an important role . But now you can do one thing focus on your strengthening your protofile or preparing for the studio test (bdes) or interview (mdes).

No, IPU (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) does not accept NID DAT Prelims score for admission to the B.Des (Bachelor of Design) program.
Instead, IPU conducts its own entrance test or may consider CUET (UG) scores for B.Des admissions, depending on the latest admission guidelines. Always refer to the university's official prospectus for the year you're applying to for the final admission criteria.
