The National Institute of Design (NID) has declared the NID DAT result BDes Mains on May 16, 2025 at admissions.nid.edu. Candidates must log in using their email address and date of birth to download the NID DAT result 2025. The BDes DAT Mains result rechecking window dates are from May 16 to 17, 2025 up to 4 PM. Candidates can submit their campus preference from May 16 to 19, 2025 till 5 PM for BDes admission.

The NID authorities declared the NID BDes result 2025 on the official website. The NID prelims result 2025 for BDes were declared on April 01. The NID DAT results were released in the form of a merit list. To be considered for the merit list, candidates had appeared for both, DAT prelims and DAT mains examinations.
Depending on the scores obtained by the candidate in DAT prelims and merit list, separate merit lists were prepared for each category as applied by the candidate. The scores obtained in the NID DAT exam cannot be used by any person or institution without prior permission of the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad.
NOTE - Candidates must note that separate result scorecards, digital or hard copy will not be provided.

Candidates could request for rechecking their answer booklet of the DAT prelims online only at admissions.nid.edu. BDes aspirants could re-check for DAT prelims from April 01, 6 pm onwards to April 02, 2025, until 4 pm. For MDes, the re-checking for DAT prelims was from February 17 to 18, 2025 till 4 pm. Rechecking can be done only if all the answers are marked. Whether there’s a mistake in totaling the marks for each question in part- 2 of the answer booklet and transferring the marks correctly onto the first cover page of the answer booklet.
While rechecking the answer booklet, if there is an error, the marks will be revised accordingly. If there’s any revision of marks, communication will be done through and will be sent to the requesting candidate’s registered email address only. For any rechecking request, candidates must submit the scanned copy of the admit card duly signed by the invigilator and with the seal of the test centre. The fee for rechecking of DAT prelims paper is Rs. 2000/-.

No, IPU (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) does not accept NID DAT Prelims score for admission to the B.Des (Bachelor of Design) program.
Instead, IPU conducts its own entrance test or may consider CUET (UG) scores for B.Des admissions, depending on the latest admission guidelines. Always refer to the university's official prospectus for the year you're applying to for the final admission criteria.
